JESUS, THE GREAT ACCOMPLISHER Ponder the marvelous involvements of the blood of Christ, for it reveals the magnitude of the peace made by it. Notice they are all powerful affirmations. -- Tomorrow:
"And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled, in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight." (Colossians 1:20-22)

1. THE REMISSION OF SINS. "For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins" (Mat 26:28).
2. THE NEW TESTAMENT. "Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood, which is shed for you" (Luke 22:20).
3. ETERNAL LIFE. "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:54).
4. PURCHASE OF THE CHURCH. "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with his own blood" (Acts 20:28).
5. PROPITIATION. "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God" (Rom 3:25).
6. JUSTIFICATION. "Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him" (Rom 5:9).
7. REDEMPTION AND FORGIVENESS. "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" (Eph 1:7).
8. MADE NIGH. "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ" (Eph 2:13).
9. PURGED CONSCIENCE. "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Heb 9:14).
10. BOLDNESS TO ENTER. "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus" (Heb 10:19).
11. SPEAKING BLOOD. "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel" (Heb 12:24).
12. SANCTIFICATION. "Wherefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered without the gate" (Heb 13:12).
13. ELECTION. "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied" (1 Pet 1:2).
14. REDEEMED FROM VAIN LIVING. "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (1 Pet 1:18-19).
15. CONTINUAL CLEANSING. "But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).
16. PRESENT WITNESS. "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one" (1 John 5:8).
17. WASHED FROM OUR SINS. "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood" (Rev 1:5).
18. REDEEMED TO GOD. "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation" (Rev 5:9).
19. LIVES CLEANSED. "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" (Rev 7:14).
20. OVERCOMING THE DEVIL. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death" (Rev 12:11).
It is no wonder that spiritually minded people make much of the blood of Christ! God makes much of it. Before the life of God could come to us, Christ had to forfeit His life, voluntarily laying it down. Before we could live, He had to die.
